[A/S] Length limits?

We will eventually be buying an Airstream to retire in, and are 
debating the necessity of having the biggest we can tow versus one 
with just enough room for the 2 of us.

I seem to recall reading in some campground or RV website that some 
parks have length limits - i.e., they don't allow anything longer 
than 27 feet (possibly because of site size and/or access roads).

As well, not that I think an A/S is all that tall, but how do 
truckers know which routes have bridges/overpasses that are too low? 
Are there maps marked with overpass heights?

Anybody got any info?
