Consumer Reports, October 2001 page 24 had an article on batteries.
you can see how the different makes compare.
Johnson Controls at www.jci.com/bg will give you some info. They
supplybatteries for Sears, Wall-mart, PepBoys, Interstate, AutoZone,
Costco,  They are OEM battery suppliers for Chrysler, Honda, Ford,
Nissan, and Toyota.  Are there differences?????  it appear that each
retailer has there own  warranty. The Wal-Mart one is better than
the Sears.  happy battery hunting.....    Steve O
