[A/S] dump valve - 67 Caravel

Does anyone have experience changing out the black water tank dump 
valve on a mid/late 60's A/S?

I spoke to Inland RV and they said it was fairly easy - just a "head 
scratcher". Said I had to cut out the belly around the dump valve 
outlet to expose the Thetford valve. If somebody in the past had not 
glued the thing on, it should be fairly straightforward. 4 screws 
(probably rusted and ready to break off). About $50 for parts.

Any thoughts, photos, ideas?
