Richard, I have no regrets with the 6.2, it has and still does serve us
well, but the 6.5 does a better towing bjob.  It is interesting that you
mention the posi-trac rear end disintegrated.  While approaching a stop
light about a year ago, our 6.2 posi-trac locked up.  Fortunately we were
going slow and the only damage was a pin (approx 5/8 X 4") had to be
replaced in the rear end.  My 16 year old grandson was driving and I was in
the right passenger seat, I thought he had somehow shifted to reverse.
Although he had been driving vehicles on the farm since he was 12, he was a
bit shook, as was Grandpa.    Ned
