Hi Bud,

The longer the wheelbase the better for towing.... but if you plan to take 
the truck into shopping centers be prepared for a long hike to the store..... 
I have the same truck with the short bed and the turning radius is 
terrible....

Towing it'll be great...... but a pain for just driving.
