This is very true. Michelin does make a very good Truck tire. For me they are 
a bit harsh riding. They use more Carbon black (stiffer rubber) which is why 
they last so long. We use to joke at the garage that a Michelin would dry rot 
out before it wore out! But the price you do pay for that is a harder ride. 
Depends on what you want more. For my Truck I use Firestones, including 
Companies work trucks. For my passenger vehicles I like Continentals. Much of 
it is personal taste and past experiences we have all had.
