My Aunt and Uncle have an older Range Rover that they
tow a 20 foot SOB trailer with.  They are from Western
New York state and have been out west a few times,
down south once or twice and to Alaska twice with it. 
They seem to have no problems.  I am sure they are
slowed by hills and wind.  They did add a Hensley
hitch due to a scare out west.  Not an airstream but
as close as I can get!
