Terry,
I loved your story of the late night arrivals! Last Oct. I went to the 
Old Mill Stream Campground in the Amish Country and after hitting the 
worst Fri. night traffic off Long Island that I've ever experience, 
arrived at the site after 11pm! My number was posted on the office door 
and I quietly found the spot and tried to back in. Try to picture 
backing up a 1967 22ft. Safari in-between two HUGE 40 something foot 
RV's with slideouts!!!!!!!!!!!!  They had left me no room for error! I'd 
only had the camper for 4 months and wasn't an experienced backer-upper. 
I tiptoed around the grounds until I found 4 guys sitting by a fire and 
begged for help. They graciously got up and managed to get me into the 
spot without waking up the neighborhood! Parallel parking a camper is 
not easy at any hour!

Thank goodness no one had shown up without a reservation and taken my 
spot! Lesson learned - try not to leave on Fridays after work to go camping!
