I was told by a GM mechanic awhile back that all the newer GM PUs (99 and up) were wearing the right rear in side brake pad out before the rest. I checked mine on my 2000 Silverado and found this one almost to metal and all others had 90% left at 50000 miles. Thought others might want to check.
