Hey Jim,

Hands down - go with the 2500 and its stronger frame. It's better to go with
a truck whose components are loafing along under extreme conditions than a
truck whose components are grunting under average conditions. When the going
gets dicey (and one day it will), the more margin of capability you have the
better your chances of dealing with it successfully.
