RE: [A/S] New Airstreams

I am a 46 year old husband and father of two
teenagers. We have had a 1985 Sunline trailer for
years. It is a wonderful trailer that has given us
great service and wonderful trips. However, at 17
years old it is about at the end of its life cycle. I
have replaced staples that held the trailer together
with screws to get that 17 years out of it. It will
be sold this spring as we make way for an Airstream
that is 7 years older AND will last us our lifetime if
we take care of it. I value tradition as well as
craftsmanship. I also value being thrifty. An A/S
might cost more initially but it is false economy to
think SOB will be cheaper. Airstreams are not cheap
to buy or maintain but you will not have to buy
another trailer due to it reaching the end of its life
cycle.
