Chassis parts are readily available,as the same chassis(chev)
was used for all the Classic Airstream motorhomes. The engine 
and transmission should be treated like any vehicle and 
checked for maintenance and current problems.
The rest of us motorhomers find ways to fix and repair anything 
on the Motorhomes, if you check  Yahoo Airstream motorhome 
group you will find more info, and AirstreamCentral as well.
