You may use them anywhere you want. They come in differant degrees of 
rise and can be gotten in some seriuos weight class's. The 
disadvantage with any rubber torsion axle is that when used in tandem 
form such as an AS, they must be pulled flat.(level) Leaf spring 
axles used in tandem or tri axle set ups are self leveling in as much 
as weight distribution per axle. So a rubber torsion axle in tandem 
use may not be the ideal choice for a trailer being pulled by many 
differant trucks. If you were to just watch for them on the highway, 
you would most commonly see them on light utility trailers used in 
single axle applications. As a single, level isn't a problem. They 
are no more expensive than leaf spring axles when the ease of 
installation is considered.  Arnie
