temps do make a difference but more so is the type of tranny fluid.
stick with synethic... i can show you a ford C6 tranny with about 300,000 
miles on it and only had the oil changed and an occasional modulator. it 
still is working very well.just that the veh body is rusting off! it could 
very well be slipped into another veh. Check with
the product manufacturer and see if the their product meets or exceeds
the veh manufacturer's specs!!!! we're not talking sales hype here but
SAE standards, that are measurable. The more one studys about synthetic
fluids the more you'll be impressed..... Steve
