Are you talking about an "on demand" water heater, like the Aqua Star?
(www.ControlledEnergy.com)  If you are, I had a long talk with an
AquaStar salesman and he says that you can't use them in a trailer as
the propane pressure delivered is not sufficient. That's what he says.
I'd like to know if other folks have used the AquaStar, because, as you
say, you are only using gas when you're heating the water you need and
not keeping a tank of water , that is usually too small to shower for an
extended period of time from, hot 24/7.
