Harvey, I think Max meant that the only currently available awning hardware
that will fit 1968 and earlier model Airstreams is made by Zip Dee. The
other awning manufactures continued to made hardware to fit the "old" body
contour for a few years but when sales declined or stopped, they
discontinued the old style. Only ZipDee is currently manufacturing hardware
to fit my ' 68 Tradewind. My other option would be to find hardware off of a
older trailer like yours. I'm looking.
