[A/S] window removal on a 68--help!

Would someone kindly enlighten me about the removal of
the windows on a '68? I know this has been discussed
before, but now I can't seem to find any of the
related links.

I thought you were supposed to disconnect the
mechanism, lift the window way up, and tap the thing
out in a downward direction. This doesn't seem to
work.

I already took the glass out for fear of breaking it.
Then, I tried the frame alone--still no luck.

BTW--what sort of tape are you supposed to use to put
the glass back? Finally, has anyone had problems with
a slight twist to the top of the frame? It seems that
mine is angled out a little further on the side
furthest from the lift. I would have expected the
opposite. It leaks a little on the side that isn't
closed as tightly. I would like to fix this, too.

So, now that I've rambled, here are all three
questions together:

1 how do I get the top rail out of the frame
2 what tape should be used to put back the glass
3 does the twist matter, or is something else causing
that leak?

Many thanks. Feel free to simply post a link, since I
should be able to find this somewhere, I'm sure.

BTW--for those who may be waiting on black water tank
photos, my wife has had false labor four (count them
4) times now. I just work on projects around the
house these days. Be assured that we will be
compelled to develop photos when the baby actually
arrives!
