Get one of those 'tap' lights - they give off quite a bit of light.  I got 
mine for $1/ea at the 'dollar' store. I even hung one from my neck during our 
last power outage - that way I could walk from room to room and it lit up 
several feet around me, hands free.

BTW - are you doing the Fandango when you are flinging that towel around? <g>
