I don't know how big the bad spots are in your floor, but in construction, at 
least here in California,  you can gussett the patch from the back side.  In 
other words, cut out the bad spot,  cut a piece about 3 inches larger all the 
way around, put it down through the hole you just cut,  put some subfloor 
glue and the pull it up under the floor, and put some screws on the 
perimiter.  Then cut a new  piece the same thickness of your floor the same 
size as the piece you cut out, drop it on top of the gussett with glue and 
screw it down.  when it dries, it will be as strong as the regular floor.
