This question seems to have been lost in the excitement surrounding your new
project.  I am no expert but from reading this list and the Vintage list I
understand that you have to remove the body from the frame to properly
replace the whole floor.  Others have done this and I'm sure there is a
great deal of technical advice out there for the asking.
