My owners manual has a table on page 26 with weights of the various length
trailers manufactured for 1979.  My '79 a center bath shows to be built
7-13-78. To avoid sending an excel sheet as an attachment I will just make a
list of the weights. The following is the order of placement for each size
listed. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating(GVWR); Factory Weight without options or
variable weights; Model; Allowable additional Total Weight Incl Personal
Cargo;  Gross Axle Weight Rating GAWR (Axle system);  Factory Axle Weight
(Axle System);  Allowable Additional Weight (Axle System); Factory Tongue
Weight Without Options or Variable Weights.

There is a list of options and their weights that have to be added to the
second column;
(Factory Weight without options or variable weights). In my trailer the
options plus the Factory Weight w/o Options Totals 5724. This number
includes full water and propane tanks but empty holding tanks.

Based upon the above, likely your trailer weights in the neighborhood of 5800 or so pounds. Leaving about 1300 lbs for food clothes and other
personal gear. This guess would only apply if the tag on the front street
side says 7100 as the GVWR.

Soon after I purchased this trailer in '98 I weighed it at the rice scales
and the ticket said 5970. After adding solar panels and full timing in it
for about a year I again weighed it in Missouri and it weighed in at 6980.
I know it is heavier than that right now and I am in the process of
getting rid of things I have not touched in the last year.

This is all a guess.  I do not know the differences between an Excella 500
and an International Sovereign. 31' twins and doubles, rear and center baths
have a maximum weight variance of 80 pounds.

This weight business is complicated to explain without being able to forward
the charts, worksheets and lists.
