J.L.,
I have a '99 and I think you must have a 2500?  I have
a 1500 and max tire pressure is 41 lb.  No cracks at
this point.  The van is garaged and has about 13,000
miles on it.  In the winter I use it on Saturday or
Sunday, weather permitting to keep things lubed.
