Re: [A/S] Changing Microwave?

Venting a microwave oven cabinet is essential, so that
the heat and moisture generated can be removed.
When microwaves were first installed in RV's, many
fires occurred, because of no or lack of adequate
ventilation.
When replacing a microwave in an RV, it is very
important to avoide the cheaper models. Micowave oven
are made to be placed on a counter top or cabinet in a
home. They basically are not made to be bounced
around. Therefore when considering a replacement, is
would be wise to purchase a unit that can take that
type of punishment. A well built microwave oven won't
come cheap. There are a number of heavy duty type
units available, but expect to pay at least $250.00 or
more. Max
