  The discussion was originally about solar panels, and their use in the 
rainy NorthWest. The Honda EU1000i will easily replace solar panels for 
charging batteries, but won't do much else. Neither will solar panels.

I didn't figure that Mark could go from a minimalist electrical 
situation to operating like he was "plugged in" with that genset, just 
that he could use all the battery power he wanted and be assured of 
replacing it, sun or no sun.
