  The fan in a computer's power supply is usually 12VDC.

A good source for these fans at a very cheap price is a "HamFest" which 
is basically a flea market for electronic stuff. I've bought muffin fans 
from 1.5" to 6" at hamfests and they're usually priced from $1.00 to as 
high as $5.00/each.

I replaced the fan in the range hood with a 6" muffin fan, but it's now 
inoperative. My suspicions are that the electronics might have cooked, 
along with the food. Now, I have to look for the original and see if I 
can repair it or try another muffin fan. My wife doesn't always run the 
fan while operating a stove, so the heat could fry the fan; it might 
last longer if I instruct her to ALWAYS run the fan when a burner is lit.
