Harvey,

While the continuous air circulation may keep a more
even temperature in the trailer it causes a much
higher level of humidity since the moisture on the
condenser above the filter is evaporated back into the
trailer.

Quite honestly I think its just easier and cheaper to
have the thermostat and control inbuilt on the air
conditioner.
