No.  It is the nature of the beast. (The good news is that the product you
got was a true epoxy.)

Epoxy resins (and paints made from them, which are based on epoxy resins)
have super adhesion characteristics, but are sensitive to oxidation and
ultraviolet light.  This exposure causes them to oxidize, and get a dull,
whitish surface.  This can be polished off, but it will reappear.

Polyurethanes are famous for their high gloss (and gloss retention).

Epoxies are frequently used for primers and polyurethanes for top coats.
