[A/S] Registration in U.S.

Hi Patrick:

My thoughts...if you are planning to return to the
same destination again and again - like a campground,
you can probably find one where you can have a site
when you need it and store it when you don't.

If the distance from the storage yard to the
campground isn't large - you should be able to make it
without registration - many insurance companies will
cover a tow vehicle regardless of registration status.
Being that you are a Canadian citizen - are you
legally bound if cited for a traffic infraction? I
know friends in law enforcement who don't ticket
Canadians for minor traffic offenses due to the
inability to make the offender pay up.

I know in Texas they do not ask for proof of residency
when you register and if you did use the address of
the storage facility - I am sure they will forward the
mail to you. You did need proof of insurance and I am
sure you will need to pay taxes if the jurisdiction
where the trailer is registered requires it.

Good Luck,

Sharon
