I dont know why you couldnt register it in the state
you buy it in, say california and use the address of
where you will store it as the address where you live.
They dont ask you for a passport when you buy a car so
why would they think you werent from this country. All
you have to have is a bill of sale and the fee I would
think , but it would be good to just go to the DMV
site for that site.
