Re: [A/S] What can/will happen?
The sticker under an Airstream that indicates jack location is for
the installation of the BAL stabiling jacks.
I don't think so. At least not on mine.
I just crawled under the Bambi (a 1999 model) and noted that the sticker
that reads "JACK" in blue letters and has an arrow pointing in towards the
underneath of the trailer (the arrow points 90š from the side of the
trailer) is located about 1 & 1/2 to 2 feet more towards the front of the
trailer of where the BAL stabilizing jacks were installed by Airstream. The
BAL stabilizing jacks are located about a foot or two further in (from where
the label is positioned) from the side of the trailer also.
The manual states " To change a tire with a jack see the label affixed to
the underbelly to the rear of the wheels. This label points to the plate
riveted to the main frame where the jack head must be placed".
How far in from the label? There are no discernable rivets or anything to
show where the "plate" is that is hidden by the underskin.
Thanks
