[A/S] New Faucet for the Airstream

Hi Gang,

What was I thinking??? Christmas Eve I decided I need a new faucet.... okay, I
already had the faucet, the same Kohler I installed in the
cabin a few months back. Not the exact same one, but one just like it. Should
be a snap since I know how right? (Famous last words).

It took 1 hour to get the old Moen off...... I finally just started breaking
it
into pieces. Broke off the copper tubing, and disconected everything holding
the pull out sprayer. I needed to do that to get to the nut which was holding
the faucet down. What a bear it was to hold the faucet so it didn't turn
while
using pliers to turn the nut. One hour later lots of Moen pieces were in the
garbage.

Dropping the new Kohler in was simple..... the problem was the copper tubing
went down approx 1/2 inch further than the hard plastic tubing I had to
connect
it to. I was so afraid I was going to break the copper, like I did with the
Moen, but I was able to bend it enough to connect..... I tightened everything
and turned the water back on.....

YEA!!! It works. If I couldn't connect up I would have had no water in the
trailer ntil Wednesday!

Mental note to self........... don't start projects on holiday eves......

Merry Christmas!
