I have mounted a household type unit in my boat and remounted the 110 
volt/12 volt unit in the Airstream, a little work but to saves 
serveral hundred dollars very doable. The Airstream unit got new door 
gasket new front cover for and turned 90 degrees. The unti in the 
Boat, Sail Boat had to be secured with angle iron as when the boat is 
heeled you do not want a refer coming loose.
