I just bought a 78 with a bad refrigerator in September. we pulled it out and 
a neighbor came by and said to "burp" it a few times and it might come back 
to life. we did and it is working fine now. apparently the liquid forms a 
crust when operated off level and doesn't allow the gases to circulate.
"burping " is turning the refrigerator upside down and allowing the liquid to 
break thru the crust. You can hear a burping sound or gurgling as the liquid 
moves. we burped it about 8 times before trying power to see if it worked. We 
tested on 110 volts outside the trailer before reinstalling.
When it goes we will replace with a std house unit 110 volt!
