I've posted a picture to the files section in my "install pictures" folder, it's named 
mvc-019, sorry it's sideways. This particular trailer came in with in with Carlisle 
750x15 LT tires on it. The tires had been balanced when installed, this one had almost 
14 ounces of weight on it. We locate the heavy spot on the drum, the heavy spot on the 
tire wheel, then mount them opposite of each other. The whole assembly is the 
balanced, this tire took 6 ounces, (much less than the original). To identify the 
mounting position we simply put a red mark on the stud in line with the valve stem, in 
the event of a flat repair I simply tell the customer to have the tire shop remount 
the tire on the rim in the same position, easy to do while the bead is broken. 

This process may seem elaborate, but if you look at your exterior or interior rivets 
rubbing the skin or popping off, or look at your door lock bolt or striker pocket and 
see the amount of rubbing that has occured you'll understand the reason for this 
process.
