<< Hunter, you have a 8" spread faucet on your sink.>>

What does that mean?

<If you have the faucet I think you have it is a beast.>>

Beast? In a good way or a bad way?

<The Globe Trotter has a 4" so the spray option is hard to find. I have only
seen a couple of 4"
spread faucets with a spray connection. >>

I'm so confused... by "spread" do upi mean the plate that goes on the
counter? My Moen faucet doesn't have a plate at all, and the plate is
optional on the Kohler. I just uploaded a photo of it
here....http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/AirstreamList/lst

< The hardest part was the water connections to the faucets as the GT has
some flare connections that were actually gas type. Who Knows Why. It helps
to have a
 workshop full of tools. >>

Yeah, I found that out when I installed the faucet in the cabin..... three
days, a tooth through my lip and a 3rd degree burn later.......

What I did learn is plumbing supply houses have an adapter for every possible
connection.

I haven't looked under the sink yet to see what I'm facing.

I was watching DIY network(or HGTV) yesterday and they said when replacing a
sink if it has polybutelyne (?) flexible water lines to replace it with the
woven steel type. I did that in my house....
