[A/S] Another Dead Bolt Question

Hello Listies,
I am sorry for making the door lock thread longer but I am here to help
and I hope somebody out there is too.
I just need some info on a dead bolt for my door.
The dead bolts at my local stores seem to have too short a bolt to make
it from the door to the casing.
I checked over about fifty or so and they are all the same (too short).
My question is what brand door bolt has a long enough bolt?
I know Camping World has what looks like a Weiser in it's catalog but
before I waste the money I would like to know if it would work.
Due to my long (!) experience on the net,(only ten years), I know this
pops up at least once a year on a list so someone else out there might
need it too.
