It sounds like we bought an identical '72 International last year; the
layout is the same.  It's 29', and we paid $4,900 for it.  In ours almost
everything was in great shape and functional--all original appliances,
plumbing and electrical in good shape. The only problems we are having are
with the lock, which won't lock with the key that came with the trailer.
Any suggestions?  How would we go about getting a replacement key to see if
that's the problem?  If it isn't the key, where do we go to get the lock
replaced? We called a locksmith, but he said they couldn't help us. The
access panel to the battery also falls off from time to time. It doesn't
seem to be locking properly.

The Nevada state DVM valued it at $10,000 for the plates, which our
insurance company accepted for replacement value.
