[A/S] Rear Sag/Grey water tanks

Very true-it's not the grey tanks but ANY extra weight added to rear
bath models of the vintages you mentioned. And actually the years extended
into the 70's farther than 1972. Supposedly Beatrice owned A/S in those
years. The frames made in that era were not strong enough and caused rear
sag problems for REAR BATH models when not enough attention is paid to waht
is carried beyond the rear axle. Be conscious of emptying storage tanks
before traveling... Do NOT travel with liquid in black or grey tanks. If
you must move with some liquid in either tank then take your time and go
"easy" down those roads and plan on traveling only a short distance to a
 dump station.

A couple stopgap measures:

1. Wondering if your rear bath model's frame has suffered sag? With
one foot step down hard on the rear corner bumper. If the bumper moves
down but not the trailer then there could be a problem.
2. Keep the seam between bumber and trailer caulked in good shape to prevent
water getting down in and rusting the frame or rotting the wood.
