While some of us are pursuing the complete 'shell-off' method, Jay (the
service manager at Oasis RV in Tucson, AZ) told me that he's done several of
these floor replacements by 'piecing in' large sections, rather than
removing the shell, and doing the floor all at once.

The advantage of the 'shell-off' method is that one may then completely
examine and more easily effect any repairs to the
frame/suspension/wiring/plumbing/holding tank(s), etc...
