I figured it might help reduce the A/C load and keep
the refrigerator compartment a little cooler.  As far
as the bending of the tube, unless Zip-Dee uses a
lighter weight tube, the streetside awing carries less
fabric which would make me believe that tube bending
should be minimized.

I like the thoughts about not having to roll up as
frequently since the smaller awning is probably a
little less likely to have problems in rain and wind.

I'll have the winter to think about this so I
appreciate your thoughts and those of others on the
list.  Please pass on your opinions!  I'm listning!
