olcarvic:    We once lost a curbside door and had one made at the local metal 
shop then when we reattached it we put two short chains from the frame to the 
inside of the door so when open it hung about half way down so could reach 
anything but then did that with all the other doors to and have never lost 
another one....been towing the same 1964 trailer since it was new     Pearl in SoCal
