Regarding hanging things on the walls, may I quote the 1966 "A Guide to
Happy Trailering in Your Airstream,"

"A small hand drill should be used to drill holes in the aluminum inner
walls and one-half inch No. 8 sheet metal screws, with flat binder heads,
used to attach such things as hooks for clothing, book shelves, extra towel
racks....those little accessories you 'can't do without.'"

Sounds rather permanent, doesn't it?
