Check the voltage coming out of the converter. Should have around 
13vdc going to the lights and the battery. If you haven't replaced 
the converter yet, that's probibly the problem. Your brown out 
occured when your battery drained.

If you did replace the converter, and it is not a direct replacement 
univolt, some additional wiring may have to be done. I just replaced 
the converter in my 75 Argosy and had to run an additional ground 
wire back to the battery. Seems like I had the battery and converter 
hooked in series, which sent 24vdc to the lights. Looked like a 
tanning booth for a few minutes before the bulbs blew, and the exaust 
fan wanted to fly away!
