Ah, I think a lot of that depends on where you leave the trailer... for 
example private campgrounds would be much safer than boondocking or even 
state parks. 

I have a little thing I do, I always set a large dog water bowl right by the 
door... sends a message that there's a large dog inside.

Always lock the trailer when you leave it, even to just walk around the 
campground (you probably know that)
