Interesting information Harry.  I know one of the
things that concerns me regarding buying a home unit
is that without power, some units use the batteries to
provide backup.  I remember my Hunter digital that I
had at home.  When power was out the display froze.

I'm trying to figure out since people talk about the
batteries supplying power (since there is no
transformer like at home), whether the thermostats
will work correctly or be in standby mode like my old
home unit was.
