I have a 99 Suburban. It has cargo strap tie down hooks in the back 
that are behind the second seat. You would have to pack with tieing 
it down in mind. I seldom ever load that area up to the point that I 
worry about it. It could be a problem if you loaded it up with a lot 
of small stuff. I always load any items as far forward as possible so 
when I brake, things won't slide forward. Maybe you could find a net 
to cover every thing & tie that to the hooks.
