[A/S] Better day today - was bad day

Hello, I was contacted by a guy who answered my post on a classified 
forum. He will sell me his Reese hitch, dual cam sway bars, clamp on 
truck mirror extenders and hitch cone all for $100. The hitch is not 
adjustable so I guess we'll have to seek out a good welder to drop it 
a lot. Did anyone ever drop the part under the truck instead of the 
hitch? That would make it easier to tow the boat too. Hitch owner is 
in NC but will be in PA at the end of every month so I have a 3-4 
hour drive to make where he crosses. Wish I could afford the orange 
hitch - if I were traveling around I would get one but this trailer 
may not be mine long anyway if it is too much trouble.  Now if I can 
only talk hubby into replacing the tires which look new but 
definitely aren't. DOT ....O71? I have read the posts on this and now 
have another worry. Passed a SOB trailer on the side of Interstate 81 
this weekend with 2 blown tires (same side of course). They had 
plenty of help and we saw them an hour later with 2 new tires on the 
side of the road and a mechanics truck there. Would hate to see that
