Wheels used on Airstream trailers are supposed to have
a 2600 pound rating, per wheel. Wheels for cars and
light trucks don't meet that requirement. Junk yard
wheels are risky, at best. Why would anyone want to
put a used wheel that had a unknown history, or
inadequate rating, on their Airstream, and tow it
along with their family, and assure them that, "relax
and enjoy, we are safe?" Perhaps some folks just like
living "on the edge," and then complain and blame
someone else, when they get into trouble. Doesn't make
sense.  Max
