Split rims wheels themselves aren't dangerous, it's just a skill the 
budget chain tire places no longer train their people on.  Every farm 
kid grew up changing spilt rim tires, we just knew the proper method.  
Truck tire shops and commercial tire shops in farm areas still will do 
split-rims, but that hinders the nature of a "travel trailer"
