[A/S] Florida Airstream

   Thank you for the spiders in the heater tip.  I eventually called someone 
who tested the gas lines, again, and he probably did exactly what you said.
   I wish someone would a book out about what not to do to elderly Airstreams.
I let a plumber use a cartridge on my sanitation system twice after someone 
came in who didn't know how to use it.  The cartridge cracked the pipes, cost 
me a lot of time and money to get someone else to fix it.  Next person took 
the whole bottom insulation etc out to get to it.  It is still open on the 
underside.  My friends with a similiar '79 Airstream say snakes could come in 
if it gets cold, he says there is no way they could get into the main living 
compartments.
What do you think?

I copied my friends Airstream 79 book, my first mechanic  took mine, it does 
not cover seals to the Airstream skin and what is open and what is not.  Do 
you think they could start nesting?  I live right on the water and watch my 
plants sitting around my outside table and chairs and there are small black 
snakes around all the time.
Don't worry if you can't answer, I will post this question too. 

  Florida is getting pretty bad to live in.  If you visit any Airstream 
communitys  with a section forladies who rely on a local mechanic to fix 
their nests while they write and paint let me know!
